Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support passengers and staff with strong customer service and communication.

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, boarding areas, waiting areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe pedestrian traffic, vendor activity, and/or restricted areas while reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and other unusual conditions.
• Support crowd management during peak travel periods, service disruptions, and/or special events by directing people, providing information, and documenting security-related incidents according to site procedures.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
