, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support access control needs. Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related support, and appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner, and document security‑related observations and actions according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor activity in common areas and assist with de‑escalation support, directional assistance, and communication with onsite personnel and/or first responders when needed.
• Complete routine reports, logs, and incident documentation, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and security‑related issues to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
