Overview
The Center for Discovery is currently seeking a Security Officer. The Security Officer will provide agency-wide safety and security coverage by enforcing employee/visitor compliance with agency vehicle traffic policies. This position will act as a liaison with local law enforcement and security agencies, responds to agency related emergencies, monitors communication network and conducts safety and security inspections. Position requires flexibility to attend special events.

- Act as a liaison with local law enforcement and security agencies.
- Respond to agency-related emergencies.
- Monitor communication network and conduct safety and security inspections.
- Maintain flexibility to attend special events.
- Must be able to work an extremely flexible schedule to include weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Must have open availability during initial training period which can last up to six (6) months.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must have a NYS Driver license in good standing and a NYS Security License.
- Experience preferred.
