• Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a public healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, verify authorized entry when required, and assist with directions, visitor screening, and other front-facing support duties.
• Support Allied Universal and site personnel during medical emergencies, evacuations, and/or other unusual events while following post orders and local protocols.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
