What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a utility location.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or critical areas.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.

Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, badge activity, and incident documentation in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for suspicious activity, access issues, and other security-related concerns.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
