** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter spaces, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access, and provide directions and assistance to visitors and staff while supporting a respectful environment.

+ Assist with de-escalation support when needed, communicate with site contacts and/or first responders, and help maintain orderly operations during routine activities and unexpected events.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.

+ A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
