As a Security Officer Lobby Patrol / Greeter in New York, NY
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic media and technology location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Thu 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Sat 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a media and technology‑focused location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, production‑related spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report policy violations, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior according to site protocols.
• Support daily operations by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and maintaining awareness of changing conditions within a fast‑paced corporate environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
