is seeking ACTIVE/RETIRED LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS WITH Security supervisor experience for a school in Flushing, NY.

Monday - Wednesday  (Pay Rate: $42 an hour)

Thursday  & Friday  (Pay Rate: $42 an hour)

We are seeking a professional and experienced Armed Security Officer, must be ACTIVE OR RETIRED LAW ENFORCEMENT with prior supervisory experience to provide a safe and secure environment within a school setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring school premises, responding to emergencies, enforcing safety procedures, and maintaining a visible security presence to protect students, staff, and visitors. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to supervise and support a team of security officers, excellent communication, sound judgment, and the capability to de‑escalate incidents effectively while ensuring compliance with all school policies and security protocols.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate professionalism at all times and have experience working in fast‑paced environments.

• Provide a safe secure environment for students, staff, and guests inside the school.
• Establish and maintain good rapport with parents, students and staff.
• Supervisor a team of officers.
• Ensure safety and efficient reporting.
• Entry & Exit of the school to ensure the safety and well‑being of students, staff & visitors.
• Assist administrators and staff in crisis and emergency situations.
• Ensure a smooth traffic flow of students through the hallways, assisting students with on‑time arrival to class and to assigned locations.
• Supervise and direct student movement during arrival and dismissal.
• Update security records, logs, and reports.
• Ensure all doors and gates are locked and that all alarms are engaged at designated times.
• Assist in daily operational duties as needed.

• Must be Active or Retired Law Enforcement with supervisory experience.
• Valid NYS Armed Guard License.
• HR-218.
• Active / Retired .
• Conceal Carry.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• High School Diploma / GED required.
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required.
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
