As a Security Officer Financial Intuition Part Time Armed Protection in New York, NY, this part‑time position provides reliable hours with flexible opportunities to pick up additional shifts. Pay Rate: $48.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 07:00 AM – 05:00 PM (6‑month commitment)

How This Role Works:

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six‑month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols for a financial services environment.
• Support cash handling and other sensitive operational areas through visible presence, routine inspections, and timely reporting of suspicious behavior and policy violations.

• 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Armed guard card or license.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
