JUST A LITTLE HIGHER-Queens Plaza North cannabis dispensary is seeking a reliable, experienced Security Officer to join us. This is a Part- time position working either day or evening shift.

This position offers competitive hourly pay.

• Responding to disturbances in or around the shop
• Actively monitoring shop entry/exit points and floor activities at all time
• Making periodic rounds in the vicinity of the shop
• Staying alert and service and security-focused whenever in guest areas
• Answering guest questions, assisting on the sales floor as needed

• 1 year of security guard experience, active security guard license
• Must possess a valid NYS security guard license - Must be at least 21 years of age
• Work experience in a Security/Door Person role is required
• Able to work a varied schedule, including days, evening, weekends and holidays, as business requires
• Can work within strict compliance requirements while keeping a positive attitude
• A proven track record of success diffusing difficult situations while working in a security role
