IT Engineer​/System Engineer​/Trade Floor; Broker-Dealer

Overview

Location: $120,000 – $160,000 USD (dependent on experience)

The Client: Our client is a global financial services firm operating in a highly regulated broker-dealer environment, focused on capital markets activities and committed to strong regulatory compliance, operational integrity, and modern technology infrastructure.

• Own and manage the intersection of IT infrastructure and business operations, ensuring systems support front-to-back office workflows and regulatory obligations
• Administer and optimize Microsoft 365, Azure AD (Entra ), Intune, and cloud infrastructure to maintain a secure and scalable environment
• Support and enhance core broker-dealer platforms, including KYC/AML onboarding, communications surveillance, and financial systems
• Partner with Compliance, Legal, and Operations to translate regulatory requirements (FINRA, AML/KYC, BSA) into technology solutions and documented processes
• Lead system improvements, UAT processes, and gap analyses to strengthen operational efficiency and audit readiness
• Maintain network, server, and virtualization environments to ensure business continuity and system integrity

• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or endpoint management within a regulated environment (financial services preferred)
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365, Azure AD / Entra , Intune, Autopilot, Windows Server, and Active Directory
• Experience with VMware ESXi, Microsoft Azure, and core networking (LAN/WAN, VLANs, firewalls, routing)
• Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, workflow mapping, UAT coordination, and gap analysis
• Working knowledge of broker-dealer regulatory requirements (FINRA, KYC/AML, BSA/FinCEN, communications surveillance)
• Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders and support audits with high-quality documentation
