Job Summary

The Vice President, TSA serves as Inter‑Con Security's senior subject matter expert and strategic advisor for airport screening operations, aviation security programs, and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) initiatives. This highly visible role partners with executive leadership, operations teams, and business development stakeholders to strengthen Inter‑Con's core aviation security capabilities, support strategic growth initiatives, and position the organization for future TSA and airport security opportunities.

This role will provide expert guidance on airport screening operations, regulatory compliance, staffing models, operational performance, security technologies, and industry best practices while serving as a trusted advisor during client engagements, operational assessments, and business development pursuits. Additionally, this individual will help shape Inter‑Con's long‑term aviation security strategy by identifying opportunities for growth, evaluating operational environments, and developing scalable solutions that support clients, enhance operational excellence, and expand the company's presence within the aviation sector.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as Inter‑Con's primary subject matter expert for TSA screening operations, aviation security programs, and airport security best practices.
  • Advise executive leadership on airport security trends, TSA regulations, industry shifts and trends, emerging risks, and operational strategies.
  • Support business development efforts by participating in client presentations, proposal development, solution design, and strategic discussions with airport and aviation stakeholders.
  • Evaluate, assess, and provide recommendations regarding airport security operations, screening programs, staffing models, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop operational strategies and recommendations that enhance security effectiveness, operational efficiency, and customer experience within aviation environments.
  • Provide guidance regarding TSA compliance requirements, security screening operations, quality assurance programs, audits, and performance metrics.
  • Support the identification and pursuit of new aviation security opportunities, including TSA Screening Partnership Program (SPP) and privatization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with operations leaders to assess existing airport security programs and identify opportunities for improvement and expansion.
  • Build and maintain relationships with aviation security stakeholders, regulatory agencies, airport authorities, and industry partners.
  • Monitor changes in TSA regulations, aviation security requirements, and industry best practices, ensuring organizational awareness and preparedness.
  • Provide strategic input regarding aviation security technologies, screening processes, workforce planning, and operational readiness.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders on complex aviation security matters.
  • Travel to support client engagements, airport assessments, operational reviews, and business development activities as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
