Unarmed F03​/F04 Fireguards Special Events

Doyle Security Services, Inc. (DSS) is seeking experienced F-03, F-04 Fireguards / Security Officers in the New York City area for Special Events.

• Monitor access points and conduct thorough security checks
• Crowd management, including controlling entry and exit points and ensuring proper flow of attendees
• Provide a safe and welcoming environment for guests and attendees
• Follow access control procedures as directed
• Maintaining exceptional communication, hospitality, and interpersonal skills
• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. Security or related experience or customer service knowledge and college level education can be substituted for work experience.

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• Must hold a valid F-03 and F-04 Certificate of Fitness (FDNY)
• Must be available to work weekends
• Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills
• Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations
• Reliable transportation
• Must understand English and Spanish languages and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Provide professional, discreet security services for VIP clients, ensuring their safety and privacy at all times
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding VIP clients' identities, schedules, and personal information
• Monitor access points and screen visitors to prevent unauthorized contact with VIP clients
• Respond swiftly and calmly to security incidents, de-escalating situations with minimal disruption to the client
