• Review staffing levels to maintain full coverage of posts.
• Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
• Investigate incidents and/or customer complaints and compile data for accurate reporting.
• Responsible for the proper execution of assigned duties.
• Trains new officers.
• Maintains regular, consistent attendance record.
• Knowledgeable of and adhere to all rules and regulations, policies, and orders. Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.

This position will utilize a 3 on 3 off chart with tours (7x3 3x11 11x7) rotating every 90 days.

• Must have supervisory experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• College education preferred but not required
• Minimum of 5 years of detention officer, law enforcement, or military police experience.
• State Unrestricted Carry Permit
• State Armed Security License

High School Diploma

• State Armed Carry Permit
• NY State Security License
• CT Blue Card
