Security Officer Experienced Patrol Officer

As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Officer located in Manhasset, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries such as retail and malls.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.07 / Hour

• Tuesday: 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM
• Thursday: 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM
• Friday: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sunday: 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, following location-specific policies, and responding to incidents as needed.
• Respond calmly to incidents, disturbances, or critical situations, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrance areas, stockroom access points, and perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, or maintenance issues that could impact daily operations.
• Support asset protection efforts by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with crowd and queue observation, and following post orders related to high-value merchandise and store closing procedures.

• One or more of the following is required: 1+ years of law enforcement experience, 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
