Security Officer Patrolling Specialist – New York, NYIn this role, you will serve and safeguard clients in residential and other industries by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to reduce security‑related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. You will support residents, guests, and property staff while bringing a caring, agile, and reliable approach built on teamwork and integrity.

- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner and report activity according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, entry points, hallways, and perimeter areas to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access points and observe onsite conditions and resident concerns, communicating relevant information to property management and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
