Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Entry Screening in Chemung, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal in a healthcare location where you will monitor entry points, manage access control, and support a professional, welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication.

- Provide customer service by following site-specific access control procedures, visitor management protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help support authorized access for patients, staff, visitors, and vendors while documenting security-related concerns and/or unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating security-related issues according to site policies.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with attention to access points, waiting areas, parking areas, and other sensitive spaces where conditions may vary by site.
- Verify credentials, issue visitor passes when required, and maintain accurate logs and reports related to access control activities, deliveries, and/or security-related incidents.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
