As part of this next phase of growth, our client is seeking a Principal Software Engineer - Identity & Fin Crime to take ownership of identity verification, authentication and fraud prevention capabilities across the platform.
This is not a traditional corporate engineering role.

Key Responsibilities- Own and help evolve the organisation's identity verification and fraud prevention capabilities
- Support the continued development of secure, scalable and reliable authentication systems
- Contribute to improvements across onboarding, identity verification and customer approval journeys
- Help identify opportunities to reduce fraud, improve customer experience and increase operational efficiency
- Support the evaluation, implementation and optimisation of identity-related technologies and processes
- Work closely with engineering, product and leadership teams to deliver strategic objectives
- Contribute to the development of authentication, verification and fraud prevention solutions
- Help improve the accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness of customer verification processes
- Support the ongoing development of secure customer identity and authentication frameworks
- Analyse risks, trends and opportunities relating to fraud, identity and verification systems
