Come join us at Ozanam Hall Nursing Home of Queens! A faith‑based, nonprofit, short‑term rehabilitation and skilled geriatric care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we have served the community since 1971. We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents.
The position requires a reliable security presence of 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 10 am to 2 pm.
Compensation and Schedule- $21.50 to $23.50 per hour based on skills and experience.
- Weekly schedule: 20 hours (Monday – Friday, 10 am – 2 pm).
- Ensure safety of the facility by controlling access and prioritizing security.
- Be conscious of government guidelines and regulations.
- Remain alert, observe conduct of people, and identify dubious activity.
- Interact well with others and take charge in problem situations.
- Take swift and efficient action during emergencies.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous security experience preferred.
- Must have a NYS security license.
- Excellent observation skills.
- Good interaction skills and ability to take charge and react appropriately in problem situations.
- Student loan forgiveness guidance.
- NYS sick pay.
- NYS short‑term disability.
- A mission‑based approach to providing nursing care.
