US Department of Defense - - Responsibilities:
Administer the Personnel Security Program in accordance with current laws, regulations and policy.;
Provide guidance for the issuance of all types of personnel security clearances, for agency and contractor personnel.;
Provide guidance on all security matters in connection with visits by agency personnel.;
Determine whether personnel concerned meet the security standards for employment, retention in employment, or the granting of the required degree of security clearance.;
