Job DetailsPosition Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $22.20 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Friday 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM
- Saturday 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of transit‑related locations, including bus yards, terminals, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter access points, with attention to unusual activity and policy concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help deter unauthorized access, loitering, and/or policy violations within the location.
- Support daily operations by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and/or other security‑related issues to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
- A minimum of 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
