Armed Security Agent
Location: Queens, NY
Schedule: Full-Time | In Person
Before You Apply: This is an armed security position.
To be considered, applicants must possess the following:
- Valid New York State Armed Security License
- Valid unrestricted New York State pistol permit or valid NYS Yellow Carry Card
- Ability to work assignments in Queens
- Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions
- Excellent observation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Professional appearance with a strong customer service mindset
- Proven reliability and strong work ethic
- High School Diploma or GED
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to successfully complete all required screenings and pre-employment training

What You'll Do- Conduct proactive foot patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Maintain a highly visible security presence
- Monitor and control access to client properties
- Identify, assess, and respond appropriately to suspicious activity
- Enforce site policies and security procedures
- Respond professionally to alarms, emergencies, and critical incidents
- Assist employees, visitors, and clients with professionalism and courtesy
- Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely incident reports
Approximately 60-70% of your shift will be spent outdoors conducting foot patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring activity, and responding to incidents as they arise.
Multiple assignments are available throughout Queens; placement will be based on operational needs and business requirements.
