• Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and/or communicate with site contacts and first responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including public areas, restricted areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations, noting and reporting security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by checking credentials, observing activity, and/or documenting incidents in accordance with post instructions.
• Support day-to-day security-related operations at the location by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and/or completing required reports and logs.

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
