Flexible Thursday-Monday - Pay: $25.63/hour
As a Loss Prevention Associate
, you will contribute to our company’s core purpose of providing unparalleled service, systems and solutions to serve, secure and care for the people and businesses of our communities. This role requires experience in apprehending shoplifters and is ideal for those with previous security experience or former military/law enforcement backgrounds.
- Perform successful customer surveillance while walking the sales floor.
- Detect and apprehend shoplifters following company policy and guidelines.
- Blend into a retail environment.
- Work retail store hours; evenings and weekends.
- Handle crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
- Operate innovative, wireless technology at client sites; intermediate computer skills required.
- Travel to store locations within 25 miles of home.
- License:
Must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations in last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), minimum insurance level as required, and ability to safely operate a vehicle. - Ability to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat.
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
- Climb stairs, ramps or ladders occasionally during shift.
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous law enforcement, military, or prior retail loss prevention experience preferred. Undercover experience a plus.
- Must successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen.
- Possess general operating knowledge of retail security camera equipment.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required prior to employment.

- Seven paid holidays at time and a half if worked.
- Forty hours of vacation after one year of employment at eligible work assignments; unused vacation is paid out where required by law.
