, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as financial institutions. This Part‑time security officer position allows flexibility and the opportunity to manage your own schedule.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $42.24 / Hour

Job Schedule: Friday 08:45 AM – 05:15 PM;
Saturday 08:45 AM – 02:15 PM

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, document observations, and report concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and support visitor and employee screening procedures in accordance with site protocols.
• Support cash handling, opening and closing activities, and other sensitive operational periods by maintaining a visible presence and remaining prepared to respond to security‑related issues.

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess a valid armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a valid corrections officer license.
• Possess a valid law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
