Security Officer – Corporate Building (Part‑Time)

Location: New York, NY

Pay Rate: $24.95 per hour

Schedule: Thursday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations calmly, document details, and communicate with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions per site policies, and report suspicious behavior and security issues.
• Support day‑to‑day operations by assisting with visitor interactions, following post orders, and maintaining situational awareness.

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• A college degree.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED (required by the client).
• At least 21 years of age (or 18 years for unarmed roles).
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Background investigation and drug screening as required by law.
• License requirements may apply; a valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
