• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building common areas, lobbies, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report security‑related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas to help support authorized access, observe daily building activity, and report maintenance, life emergency, and/or property‑related issues.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, provide clear updates during shift handoff, and follow Allied Universal post orders and client‑directed policies.

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
