Position Overview
The Penthouse NYC is a premier nightlife and event destination known for its luxury ambiance, exceptional service, and exclusive atmosphere. We pride ourselves on providing a safe, upscale, and enjoyable experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor entrances, exits, and activity throughout the venue
- Verify guest IDs and maintain crowd control
- Respond quickly and effectively to incidents or emergencies
- Enforce venue rules and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- Escort guests or staff when necessary
- Collaborate with management and other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Write brief reports of incidents or security concerns
- Previous security experience preferred (nightlife or hospitality experience a plus)
- Must be reliable, observant, and calm under pressure
- Excellent communication and conflict‑resolution skills
- Must be able to stand for long periods and work nights/weekends
- Valid security license or certification (as required by NYC law)
- Pay: $20 per hour
- Friendly and professional work environment
