Security Officer Educational Facility Badge Patrol Officer — Bronx, NY. This is a Part-Time role. Pay rate: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour.

Schedule:

Saturday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM;
Sunday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM.

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and faculty by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including contacting school personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, hallways, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and document visitor activity in accordance with location guidelines and security-related procedures.
• Prepare detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and school representatives as appropriate.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
