As a Security Officer Part Time Digital Patrol Reporter in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

Conduct routine foot patrols, monitor access points, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, document activity, and provide welcoming customer service to employees and visitors. You will use clear communication, sound judgment, and teamwork while representing a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative organization that puts people first and acts with integrity.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a technology and media location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, parking facilities, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and facility concerns according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Document patrol findings and incidents accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal and site personnel.

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
