The firm is seeking a Security Manager
. The Security Manager supports the Director of Security in the administration, coordination, and continuous improvement of the firm's global corporate security program. This position serves as a key contributor to security operations, global program development, policy creation, security technology administration, and cross-functional security initiatives.
This position requires an organized, detail-oriented, and highly professional individual with excellent written communication skills, strong project management abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:- Security Program Administration and Security Program Development
- Assist the Director of Security in developing, implementing, and maintaining the firm's global corporate security program.
- Support the continued maturation of physical security programs across domestic and international offices.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve security operations, processes, and standards.
- Support implementation of new security initiatives and strategic projects.
- Assist in drafting, revising, and maintaining global security policies, standards, guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Develop clear, concise, and professional documentation for security processes.
- Assist in standardizing security procedures across all global office locations.
- Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and written recommendations.
- Assist in planning and executing global security projects.
- Track project milestones and provide regular status updates.
- Collaborate with Facilities, Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal, Compliance, and other business units.
- Assist in supporting daily security operations across all offices.
- Coordinate security-related requests from offices globally.
- Assist with physical security assessments and office security reviews.
- Support investigations into security incidents and policy violations.
- Participate in emergency response planning and business continuity initiatives.
- Assist in vendor evaluations and technology assessments.
- Prepare reports, metrics, dashboards, and security analytics.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
- Access Control Administration
- Serve as an administrator for the firm's S2 Security Management System.
- Assist in creating, issuing, and maintaining employee and contractor access credentials.
- Activate, modify, suspend, and deactivate employee access privileges.
- Maintain accurate badge holder records and access permissions.
- Assist in programming and printing employee security badges.
- Troubleshoot routine system issues and coordinate more complex issues with the firm's security systems contractor.
- Serve as the primary liaison with the firm's electronic security contractor.
- Coordinate system maintenance and service requests.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely completion of work.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration, Emergency Management, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in corporate security, physical security, law enforcement, or a related field.
- Knowledge in administering enterprise electronic access control systems.
- Demonstrated experience writing policies, procedures, SOPs, or operational documentation.
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
