Mount Sinai - 1468 Madison Avenue - Responsibilities:
Provide security for employees, patients, visitors and deter loss of property through access control, patrols, crime prevention activities, and investigation of unusual activities;
Staff assigned posts, patrol assigned areas, and investigate unusual occurrences to protect facility and property;
Respond to emergencies and provide assistance to patients, visitors, and staff; manage difficult situations per security procedures;
Participate in access control by checking identifications, screening visitors, and clearing areas at end of visiting hours;
Direct vehicle traffic to prevent congestion and ensure ambulance bays are clear of unauthorized vehicles
