As a Security Officer – Mobile Patrol in Rock Tavern, NY
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading tech location, you will complete routine patrols, support access control and badge verification, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document activity, communicate clearly with site teams, and provide customer service while using site systems and/or a tablet.

• Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including office areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Control access at designated entry points by checking credentials, directing visitor traffic, and assisting with visitor sign-in and/or badging per site policy.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations during shift turnover, and report hazards and/or unusual activity to site leadership.

• Have 1 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
