Job Description

The Security Manager is responsible for overseeing the security operations of [Hotel Name] to ensure the safety and security of guests, Team Members, and property. This role requires a strong understanding of security protocols, emergency procedures, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Security Operations:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Oversee the implementation of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
  • Monitor security personnel and ensure adherence to established protocols.
  • Respond to security incidents and emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
  • Investigate security breaches and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies to maintain a strong working relationship.
• Team Management:
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise security personnel.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback and coaching.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of security staff.
  • Manage the security department's budget and resources effectively.
• Guest Safety and Security:
  • Implement measures to ensure the safety and security of guests, including escort services, emergency procedures, and guest room security.
  • Respond to guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.

• Proven experience in security management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of security systems and technologies.
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
• Valid security license or certification (if required by local regulations).
• Proficiency in relevant computer software (e.g., security management systems, incident reporting software).

Salary Range - $80,000 - $85,000
