As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol
in Bronx, NY
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism.

Pay Rate: $18.57 - $19.57 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail and common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements, helping to maintain orderly operations throughout the location.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and communication records for Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
