The Assistant Director of Student Life Operations provides operational,technical, and administrative leadership for Husky Card Services,Residential Security, and Student Life technology systems tosupport a safe, secure, and student-centered campus environment.

This position is responsible for the administration of campuscredentialing, electronic access control systems, residentialsecurity technologies, meal plan administration and reconciliation,and customer service operations related to campus identification and access services. The Assistant Director oversees the integrity of meal plan assignments, resolves account discrepancies, partners with Dining Services to ensure accurate billing and reconciliation,and delivers a seamless customer experience for students, faculty,staff, and guests. The position is also responsible for implementing operational improvements, supporting enterprise technology initiatives, and managing system integrations that enhance security, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen the student experience.

Working collaboratively with Housing and Residential Life, Public Safety, Information Technology Services,Facilities, Dining Services, Enrollment Management, and other

Student Life departments, the Assistant Director ensures the effective operation of campus access and credentialing systems while maintaining critical security infrastructure and supporting the University's strategic objectives.

• Oversee thedaily operations of Husky Card Services, including the issuance,replacement, and lifecycle management of university identificationcredentials.

Administer campus credentialing and electronic access permissions for students, faculty, staff, affiliates, and guests. Maintain the integrity of campus cardholder databases while ensuring compliance with University policies and applicable privacy regulations. Coordinate with Housing, Public Safety, Dining Services, Athletics, Libraries,and other campus partners to support access privileges acrossuniversity facilities. Administerelectronic access control systems by assigning, modifying,auditing, and removing building access permissions. Partner with Dining Services to support point-of-sale technologies, troubleshootmeal plan access issues, and coordinate operational improvements.

Manage mealplan administration, reconciliation, and account corrections toensure accurate student billing and exceptional customer service. Develop andmanage communications, website content, social media, and servicenotifications related to Husky Card Services.

• Support the administration of residential security technologies that promote asafe and secure living environment.

Coordinate with Residential Security, Housing and Residential Life, Public Safety, and Facilities to ensure reliable operation of electronicaccess systems. Provide operational oversight for electronic locking systems, access control hardware, surveillance technologies, and related security infrastructure. Monitor system performance, investigate access issues, and coordinatetimely resolution of security-related incidents. Conduct routine security audits, access reviews, and operationalassessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements. Assist in planning and implementing security enhancements, technologyupgrades, and new residential access initiatives.

• Serve as the primary operational resource for Husky Card Services, Residential Security, meal plan administration, and related technology services.
