Pay Rate: $47.22 / Hour

How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security‑related concerns.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor activity, incidents, and/or unusual observations in accordance with site procedures.
Maintain a professional armed presence while handling assigned equipment responsibly and complying with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
A Valid Firearms Permit is preferred.
CPR Certification is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
