Fire Safety Director; FLSD - F89, T89

Keep a Manhattan commercial building safe, on a weekday schedule with no weekends or holidays.

Shifts:

Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm, or Monday to Friday, 3pm to 11pm.

You are responsible for fire and life safety in the building. You will:

• Monitor the fire alarm system
• Respond to alarms and emergencies, and coordinate with FDNY on scene
• Oversee fire safety and evacuation procedures, and run fire drills
• Keep test and inspection logs up to date and the building compliant with FDNY regulations
• Keep tenants, visitors and building staff safe and informed

This is a full-time position.

• A current FDNY F-89 or T-89 Certificate of Fitness, or one being renewed (required)
• Calm, clear judgment in an emergency
• Reliability and punctuality
• Background check required (at our cost)
