HVAC Service Technician

Overview

We are a well-established Central NY Heating & Air Conditioning Company that services residential and light commercial HVAC systems. We have been in business for over 15 years and seek an Experienced Service Technician who is dependable and trustworthy to provide quality service to our clients and customers.

• Perform maintenance and repairs to HVAC equipment.
• Identify, diagnose, and repair systems to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Use hand tools and power tools.
• Stay current on all manufacturers’ products concerning their installation and/or repair.
• Complete all paperwork associated with maintenance and/or repair.
• On-call rotation.

• Team-oriented with the ability to work well and communicate with others.
• Understanding of HVAC systems; field experience preferred.
• Ability to install HVAC systems and components.
• Ability to maintain and repair HVAC systems and components.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and system literature.
• Own personal tools of the trade.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Demonstrates willingness to accept responsibility.
• Neat, professional appearance.
• Possess valid driver’s license and clean driving record; pass pre-employment screening.

Hourly pay, plus commission. Compensation contingent on skills and experience. Normal business hours Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, with rotation of weeknights and weekends for on-call duties. Benefits include health care after a 60-day probationary period, IRA & paid holidays.
