As a community-focused business, we partner with people who share our values proudly. We are looking for a superintendent at our Far Rockaway location to join our team and to contribute to the culture and growth of our organization!

A successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with plumbing repairs, electrical repairs, and general maintenance, and at least 3 years in a supervisory position. You will be corresponding with residents on questions, issues, and concerns, and supervising the porters in your buildings. Control wiring, pumps, burners, and locksmith experience is a big plus.

• Positive CAN-DO attitude a MUST
• Must have the following licenses (or be able to obtain within 30 days of employment):
  • S-12
• Comfortable being on-call 24/7
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing (troubleshooting and repairing leaks)
• Basic knowledge of electric
• Ability to successfully snake and clear a drain
• Troubleshoot a boiler
• Own all necessary tools
• Must be able to schedule and manage porters
• Must be computer literate
• Locksmith experience a plus
• Can replace ceramic tile
• Spanish speaking a plus
• Experience driving a plow and bobcat are a plus

• Hourly rate: $33.00 to $34.00 hourly
