Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Field Technician located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Field Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing building automation and energy management systems. Daily tasks also include conducting system inspections, ensuring proper operation, and collaborating with team members to enhance system performance and efficiency. The role requires direct interaction with clients to provide technical support and training, ensuring seamless functionality of systems on-site.
Qualifications- Proficient in system installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
- Experienced in working with building automation systems and energy management technology
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills
- Ability to follow project specifications and technical documentation
- Effective communication, training, and customer service skills for client interactions
- Willingness to work on-site in the New York City Metropolitan Area; ability to travel locally as needed
- Relevant technical certifications or training in building automation systems, HVAC, or electronics is a plus
- Experience in Carrier Controls technology and previous field service experience preferred
