Overview

CARETAKER (HA) - 90645. This is a Caretaker position with responsibilities in plastering and related maintenance work as described below.

• Apply plastering materials to interior and exterior surfaces (use of hawk, trowel, Darby, slicker; working of dots and screeds); apply plaster coats (scratch, brown and finish).
• Lathing and plastering bases (channel iron, wire lath, etc.).
• Perform dust control and clean up.
• Mix plastering materials properly.
• Caretaker personnel appointed are encouraged to gain the knowledge required for career advancement to Plasterer.

There are no formal education or experience requirements for this position.

Note:

Travel to Developments within assigned neighborhood is a requirement, with the frequency determined by the Neighborhood Administrator. These positions will cover Manhattan Neighborhood 04, which includes Amsterdam, Douglass, DeHostos and Straus.

Salary: $38,291.00 – $53,779.00
