We are seeking a reliable and skilled Home Improvement Technician to join our growing environmental services team. This position involves residential and commercial carpenter work related to environmental remediation, restoration, and general home improvements. This is not a construction position only.
For Compliance purposes for NYS transparency, the expected salary range is $30.00 - $40.00 per hour. Compensation will be based on experience, certifications, and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities- Ability to perform environmental tasks including mold remediation and restoration and environmental remediation.
- Perform general home improvement and repair work (drywall, framing, painting, flooring, basic finishing carpentry).
- Safely use hand and power tools
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Follow company procedures and all NYS safety requirements
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- 3+ years prior experience in home improvement, and construction.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical work
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with environmental or remediation work a plus
- Ability to work weekends and overtime if needed and emergency response.

This is a safety-sensitive position that requires driving a company vehicle. Must be at least 19 years of age. Drug screening and motor vehicle record check will be performed on all new hires.
