Role Description

Looking for a Junior Tech or Journeymen who can perform good maintenances, diagnose Gas-Pack RTUs, VRF and mini splits, conventional split snd package units, exhaust fans, VAV boxes, pumps, VFDs, electric heaters and overall hydronic heating experience helps.

If hired, you would be working for a small team who services a very large and important medical client. A lot of work is after hours, weekends and holidays. Union shop. You will be working predomaintly in Nassau/Suffolk, Queens and on very rare occasions in Brooklyn/Manhattan if we are short handed in those zones. You will be on night service rotation every 9-10 weeks ( standby pay is very good).

If you DO NOT like overtime, please do not even bother. As with any HVAC contractor, we work in all elements (snow,rain,heat,cold), dark spaces, high ceilings and tight spaces.

Customer service is a must.

My team is small but camaraderie is amazing. Everyone on the team loves being on it and servicing our client.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in equipment inspection, maintenance, repair, and problem-solving skills related to facilities and technical systems
  • Understanding of safety protocols and the ability to adhere to industry standards
  • Some written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction and reporting
  • Relevant certifications (FDNY Fire watch and Burn)
  • Prior experience in facilities maintenance or technical service roles is beneficial
