Overview

Installer - Entry Level position focused on assisting with installation projects, learning installation processes, and supporting the service department with order changes. The role emphasizes customer service, proper documentation, and adherence to company policies.

• Use best practices in installation techniques for new construction and replacement projects.
• Assist in installing products ordered.
• Learn to interpret job installation reports.
• Ensure all customers are treated in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Maintain neat job-site practices.
• Learn job planning, including reviewing job work order assignments, calendar coordination, and route review.
• Assist in assessing installation and repair projects.
• Communicate with the service department on any changes to orders needed.
• Learn to take comprehensive photos of issues for evaluations.
• Test installations to ensure the product is in working order and to customer satisfaction.
• Respond to additional customer requests.
• Adhere to policies and procedures for documentation.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED/Trade School) a plus.
• NYS Driver’s License.
• Residential construction and millwork experience a plus.
• Frequent standing and heavy lifting routinely required.

• For compliance purposes for NYS transparency, the expected salary range is $18.00 - $20.00. Compensation will be based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
