Join Orkin as a Service Technician and deliver trusted pest control solutions across your community.
Responsibilities- Complete award‑winning training to acquire the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers.
- Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
- Follow a route schedule and daily operation plan within an assigned territory, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer’s location.
- Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain its cleanliness along with all required equipment.
- Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
- Serve as a problem‑solver for each customer with empathy, listening to and understanding their needs and recommending efficient, innovative solutions.
- Meet with customers in their businesses or homes to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services that enhance their pest‑management plan.
- Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s property using techniques taught in training.
- Complete all required service‑related documentation in a handheld device for speed and accuracy.

- Experience in the service or skilled trades industries preferred.
- Experience in a professional driving/route management role a plus.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
- Ability to work in the field independently, manage route‑based assignments, and interact with customers inside their businesses and/or homes.
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and rooftops, including the ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which may require an OSHA‑compliant respirator.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
