Location: New York
The Transmission Operations Department is seeking to hire a Mechanic B to support field operations that ensure the safe and reliable operation of transmission systems. In this hands‑on role, employees will assist with the maintenance, construction, and repair of equipment while working in a team‑oriented, safety‑focused environment.
Successful candidates will be dependable, adaptable, and motivated to learn and grow within critical infrastructure operations. This position offers a defined career progression path: employees are expected to pursue advancement to the Splicer role. Advancement requires successful completion of on‑the‑job training, along with passing the required examination to qualify as a Splicer.
