Maintenance Technician – PUBLIC POSTING

We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Maintenance Technician to join their team.

Responsibilities include:

Maintaining a professional, courteous relationship with residents, staff, and vendors.

Collaborating closely with the Community Manager on all projects and daily operations.

Communicating clearly with residents regarding maintenance requests and expected timelines.

Addressing resident concerns professionally while following fair housing guidelines.

Performing daily cleaning and upkeep of common areas to ensure strong curb appeal.

Conducting basic repairs and preventative maintenance within the community.

Supporting home refurbishments using basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills.

Coordinating with vendors and overseeing projects to ensure timely completion.

Maintaining and properly storing all community tools and equipment.

Managing supply lists, purchasing common materials in bulk to reduce costs.

Prioritizing work orders based on urgency and safety needs.

Documenting all work orders, incidents, and repairs accurately, including photos.

Staying organized, efficient, and communicative to improve overall team performance.

Supporting special projects and additional maintenance tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar residential role.

Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Attention to detail with a commitment to accurate documentation.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
