We are seeking a Groundsperson to join our team at Litchfield Asphalt Plant.
Compensation
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Main Responsibilities
* Perform general labor duties, including cleaning and maintaining quarry grounds and equipment.
* Assist with plant operations, including loading and unloading materials.
* Perform tasks related to quarry maintenance, including fixing equipment and performing repairs.
* Assist with safety inspections and ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
* Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced employees.
Physical Requirements
* Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
* Able to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb or balance.
* Able to work in wet and/or dry conditions and extreme heat and cold.
