Responsibilities

• Performs routine and preventative maintenance of the Fleet of Heavy Equipment/Vehicles, to include but not limited to, Milling Machines, Pavers, Rollers, Excavators, Back Hoes, Flow Boy Trailers, Utility and Passenger Vehicles, and any related Machinery and Trailers.
• Maintenance includes checking for service, repairs, proper operation and cleanliness of assets.
• Detect faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs.
• Adjust and maintain heavy machinery.
• Operate, overhaul, dismantle, reassemble and test units to ensure operation efficiency.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using engine diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devices.
• Examine parts for damage or excessive wear, using micrometers and gauges, repair and replace damaged or worn parts, fabricate needed parts or items.
• Adjust and maintain industrial machinery.
• Safe use of hand tools, power tools, welding and fabrication tools, etc.
• Adhere to safety standards including, donning proper PPE.
• Actively contribute to Safe Work behaviors, complying with required PPE and safeguards.
• Maintain safety standards by employing appropriate safeguards such as; lifts, jack stands etc. when working on equipment.
• Maintain accurate data, while upholding the company confidentiality practices.
• Additional tasks as assigned, act as a point of contact as applicable.

Requirements

• Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Heavy machine operations required.
• Working knowledge of heavy equipment or mechanically inclined.
• Attention to detail, thorough and ensure proper functionality, securing safety at top of mind.

Pay varies by experience $20-45/hr + OT
